Important medical disclaimer
Educational tools only — not medical care
Migraine Trail is not a healthcare provider, medical service, or medical device. These tools use information you enter and simplified educational rules. They may be incomplete or wrong and cannot examine you.
- Results do not diagnose, rule out, confirm, or predict any disease, headache type, trigger, emergency, or personal medical risk.
- Do not start, stop, combine, delay, or change a medicine or treatment—and do not delay professional care—because of a result.
- Labels such as “pattern,” “alignment,” “score,” “threshold,” “risk,” or “urgency” are educational summaries, not clinical findings or probabilities.
Discuss symptoms and decisions with a licensed healthcare professional who knows your history. For a child, involve a parent or guardian and an appropriate pediatric clinician.
If symptoms may be an emergency, stop using this site. Call your local emergency number or seek emergency care now. Never wait for or rely on a tool result.
Historical Migraine Weather Checker
See the pressure, humidity, temperature, and rain around past migraine attacks, then compare dates for repeated conditions.
Enter the location where the attacks occurred. Times below should be local to that city.
Migraine dates are processed in your browser and are not saved.
How to interpret it
Look for repetition, not one-off coincidences
A pressure drop before one attack may be coincidence. The same condition appearing repeatedly is more useful evidence to bring into your own tracking and medical conversations.
- Compare attacks from the same location when possible.
- Use the approximate time symptoms began, not when pain peaked.
- Track sleep, stress, hormones, and medication alongside weather.
Historical weather data and limitations
Results use hourly historical forecast data from Open-Meteo. The values are modeled estimates for the selected coordinates, not a reading from a sensor at your exact location. Pressure is adjusted to mean sea level so cities at different elevations are easier to compare.
Weather data: Open-Meteo Historical Forecast API.
Make weather comparison automatic
Migraine Trail records weather alongside your attacks and helps surface patterns without manual date-by-date checking.
Frequently asked questions
Can this prove weather triggered my migraine?
No. It can reveal repeated timing, but it cannot prove causation or diagnose weather sensitivity.
Why should I enter several attack dates?
Repeated conditions across several attacks are more informative than a single overlap. The tool highlights signals that appear on at least two selected dates.
What dates are supported?
Choose dates from 2021 through the current day. Very recent or isolated historical readings can occasionally be unavailable from the weather provider.
